- Professional hair and makeup is included in every package unless stated otherwise!
- You can chose any type of model release you feel comfortable with (I will post full details of this further down).
- If you aren’t already in my women’s only group on Facebook, please join! We have a lot of fun in there and I share all kinds of positive uplifting girl gang stuff! There’s also giveaways and you can see other sessions in there that maybe I can’t share on other forms of social media!
Here are some tips to prepare for your boudoir session!
- Arrive with your face clean & moisturized with no makeup on.
- Please arrive with your hair clean, washed and DRIED. You should do it the day before your shoot—UNLESS you have naturally thin or oily hair—in that case, please do it the morning of your shoot. If you want big, wavy bed hair, please don’t come with your hair pre-flat-ironed, as it won’t hold a curl well then. If you have very tight curly hair and would like to get big loose curls for your shoot, you can round-brush your hair out smooth and then the stylist will curl it once you’re here. OR you can email me if you have any special concerns or questions about what to do with your specific hair type.
- If you’re going to wax, please do so a couple days before the shoot to avoid any skin irritations that might arise.
- Be wary of self-tanners as they can sometimes turn you too orange, and often end up streaky. Spray tans may be a better option, as they’re usually more even.
- Paint your fingernails and toe nails. Whether it’s a simple nude or a sexy dark polish- these are the little details that will make a huge difference. Your hands will likely be showing in many of the shots.
- Don’t wear any tight clothes on your way over. They may leave marks/indents on your skin that won’t be flattering in the photos (ie. Tight waste bands or socks etc). For Marathon Sessions, you can bring a robe to wear since there will be a couple people around (ie. next client, the stylists). Or you can borrow my guest robe. No one will be present in the studio room where we’re shooting though.
- Moisturize your whole body really well. Dewy, glowing skin will be your best asset.
- Drink lots of water the week leading up to your shoot. Don’t drink much water on the day of the shoot though as you’ll likely retain a bit of that water.
- Be sure to get a good night’s sleep the day before. Be sure to eat something before you come over. It’s tough to focus and be “camera-ready” when your stomach is growling.
