Moose Jaw Intimate Wedding Photographer | Wakamow Valley Modern Elopement

My sweetest friend Alissa married the love of her life, Jason in a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. I am absolutely honored to have been able to be there to capture every moment for them, but even more so to see my friend truly so happy and living her best life!

Alissa got ready at the iconic Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa, if you haven’t gone it’s a definite must do in Moose Jaw. Belle & Blush with Danae came and did makeup for the girls, she is so talented, I highly recommend her as a makeup artist!

We then did the first look and bridal party formals in the stunning Wakamow Valley, which was perfectly green and lush for their June wedding. The sun came out nicely, it was lovely. Just as we returned downtown to the ceremony location, the dark clouds came rolling in and thankfully we were inside for the ceremony or we would have been washed away by the downpour.

Their wedding ceremony took place at a Spin studio, how cool is that? The Attic Spin Studio transformed into this beautiful venue for their vows, and I was absolutely in awe of the gorgeous exposed brick and hardwood floors. Moose Jaw has some beautiful historic buildings, and this was an absolute dream for me to photograph.

The reception took place at this stunning Downtown Moose Jaw cafe Evolve. Alissa’s parents actually own the cafe, and it was a perfect spot to hang out and play board games after their “I do’s”. This whole day was laid back and low key, full of so much love and togetherness. It was perfect!

Intimate Big Valley Elopement: Love, Cows, and Rolling Coulees

Indy + Steve hired me to photograph their special day last summer, their wedding photos turned out nothing short of magical. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of rolling coulees and a family member’s property, their elopement was a perfect blend of rustic charm, emotion, and romance.

A Love Story Rooted in Simplicity and Passion

From the moment Indy stepped onto the land, barefoot and glowing with excitement, it was clear that this day would be one close to my heart, and unforgettable for the two of them. There was no rush, no stress, just two people deeply in love, ready to promise forever. Her carefree spirit perfectly matched the vast Alberta sky, and as she walked toward her groom, the air was filled with an undeniable sense of love.

Steve, standing patiently, had eyes only for her. In every glance, every small smile, he looked at her as if she was the most precious gift he had ever received. This was not just a wedding. It was a moment in time where love stood still, captured forever in golden prairie light. Sunset creates the most magical vibe for your photos, so if we can even sneak out for 15 minutes, it’s so worth it!

A Rustic Prairie Backdrop for the perfect Elopement

The setting was as breathtaking as their love. Big Valley, with its sweeping coulees, open fields, and grazing cows, provided a dreamlike atmosphere for their photos. As the wind carried their words into the vast sky, the land seemed to listen, bearing witness to a love so pure. The occasional curious cow wandered nearby, adding a touch of whimsy to the scene, making the moment even more unique.

Surrounded by nothing but nature and the quiet presence of their closest loved ones, this elopement was a testament to what truly matters…love, connection, and the beauty of the simple things.

Capturing Every Emotion, Every Moment

As a photographer, it was an honor to document such raw, beautiful moments. The way she laughed barefoot in the fields, the way he held her like he never wanted to let go, these are the memories that tell a story beyond words. Each image is a reflection of their love, untamed and real, just like the land around them. I could not be more excited to share this gallery with you, I’m in love with every image.

If you’re dreaming of an intimate wedding experience that embraces nature, authenticity, and deep connection, an elopement in Alberta might be the perfect choice for you. Let’s create something timeless together.

Garden Goddess | Red Deer Boudoir Photographer

When I tell you I was thrilled to shoot two beautiful women with two different vibes at this beautiful location in Sylvan Lake, wow! I love being a boudoir photographer, there is no better feeling that guiding a woman through her journey of self love and empowerment. I am so thankful that so many women feel comfortable with me during this most intimate journey and share their vulnerability with me. When we are vulnerable we are healing. Doing the hard things is what gives you the confidence ten fold in return.

Jo is such a breath of fresh air, she doesn’t ever hold anything back. She is authentically herself always, and that’s something that I admire so much about her. The bodysuit in the second half of the photos is from the client closet and I just love how feminine and delicate it is, Jo looks amazing in it! I love the outside portion to this boudoir session, there’s something about a field of flowers that just makes me so happy.

I love the contrast of the two boudoir sessions that I did here, they’re so different from each other which is the point. Every woman is different, and every single one deserves to be celebrated in a way that honours her!

I would love to customize a boudoir session just for you to celebrate your womanhood!
